The manor of Ucero belonged in the XIII century to Juan García de Ucero, husband of María de Meneses. And because of the death of him, his wife inherited it and she gave it to her bastard daughter that she had with Sancho IV of Castille, Violante Sánchez de Castilla.
In the census of 1879, ordered by the Count of Floridablanca, it figured as head ville of the parish of Ucero in the management of Soria, with jurisdiction of abbatial and under the autority of the Great Mayor of Manor, proclaimed by the Bishop of Osma. Ucero had at that time 232 inhabitants.
Ucero actually counts with 55 inhabitants.
