The word has different meanings in Spanish, a few of which are: 1) Peacock; 2) Butterfly with rounded spots for eyes in the wings , reminiscent of the drawings of peacock feathers and 3) Polished surface oxide layer , bluish , black or brown , with which the steel parts are covered to improve their appearance and prevent corrosion.
