Andrew palfridarius received a legacy from the queen in 1328, and in the following year William palfridarius received a similar legacy and at the same time a payment was made to Gilbert palfridarius (ER., I, p. 117,210, 217). John palframan was juror on an inquest made at MusJcylberg in 1359 (RD., p. 267) Simon palframan is mentioned in Aberdeen in 1411 (CRA., p. 388). and Thomas Palframan was admitted burgess of the same city in 1473 (NSCM., I, p. 24). The croft of George Palframan in Kincardine is mentioned in 1490 (SCM., IV, p. 11).
