The palliser (the Frenchpalis, a pale, a stake) was a kind of parker, one who guarded or fenced enclosures. 'The Rev. Thomas Palaser, or Pallicer, born at Ellerton-upon-Swale, a Roman Catholic priest, was executed for his religion at Durham, Aug. 9, 1600': Old Yorkshire.

1793. Married — Alex. Paul and Sarah Pallister: St. George, Hanover Square.

1794. — Thomas Haverly and Elizabeth Palser: ibid.
