Dame Elspeth or Elizabeth Pantone was a religious of North Berwick in 1539-48 (CMN., 56, 65), Jonet Pauntoun was retoured heir of Jonet Sym in Galstoun, her mother, 1606 (Retours, Ayr, 81). and Williame Pantoune was heir of James Pantoun of Blackhouse, his father, 1685 (Retours, Aberdeen, 473).
