James Sanderis, reider, was admitted burgess and guild brother of Glasgow, 1630, 'for service done and to be done and to give him the better curage heirefter" (Burgesses), and Robert Sanderis was retoured heir of Alexander Winchester, burgess of Banff, 1662 (Retours, Banff, 109).
