Andrew le Serjaunt and Nicol le Serjaunt of Linlithgow rendered homage, 1296 (Bain, II, p. 198), and in the same year a writ was issued to the sheriff of Edinburgh in behalf of Nicholas le Sirjaunt (ibid., II, 832). John Sergaunt was a witness in the enqui ' concerning the Templars, 1309 ( Wilkins, Concilia, p. 383).
