George Speed, minister of Aberlour, Banffshire, diea 1688, and Mr. William Speed, minister at Botraphennie, residenter at Netherbyre parish of Aytoun, 1706 (Lauder), is probably Mr. William Speed, minister at Ednam, who was deposed in 1689 (RPC., 3. ser.
