There is a village south of Stuttgart, Germany, named Steinbronn in the 1700s, now named Steinenbronn. Also, in Alsace, France, there are two villages - Upper Steinbrunn and Lower Steinbrunn, that several hundred years ago were called Upper Steinbronn and Lower Steinbronn. There are several other places with names similar to Steinbronn or Steinbrunn.
