One of this name gave name to Stawpartislandis (1504) or Stalparlandis (1510) (RMS., II, 2817, 3484). Andrew Stouphart was box-master of Trinity Hospital, Leith, 1759 (Laing, 3208), and John Stupart appears in Grange, parish of Logie, 1794 (Logie, I, p. 196).
