This was a price that was given to the women that were honorable had integrity and loyal to their family. Its called tsipa. Then this scarf was synonymous to a good wife. Later on the true purpose of wearing it faded away. And women started to wear it in way of their dress code for they were leaveing the house. But the meaning of the word tsipa stayed through the years. Its stilled used to describe a person with these characteristics.
