Geoffry de Venali, also of Aberdeen, swore fealty in 1296. His seal bears device a lion rampant, fighting with a horned dragon, both erect, S' Galfridi de Wenali (Bain, II, p. 181). Symone de Venella appears as charter witness in Perth, 1365 (RMS., I, 196).
