The brotherhoods (which are in the town of Pljevlja) surname was once Jahijabegovich (Jahijabegović) and they lived in Herzegovina. They had big fields in their property. There is a story that they stole land from Vlasi (ethnic group of people that lived there) and that is why they got the surname Vlahovljak.
