Alexander Wedowstoune, admitted burgess of Aberdeen, 1579 (NSCM., I. r. 74) appears again as Wedonsone in 1595 (CRA., p. 127), and James Wedonsoun was admitted burgess of the same town in 1597 (NSCM., I, p. 91).
