W. de Chamund witnessed a charter by Sayer de Quinci, earl of Winton, of the lands of Duniker to the church of Dunfermline (RD., p. 91). William de Chaumunt attested an agreement between the abbot of Holyrood and Roger de Quinci in 1222 (LSC, p. 40), and Dominus Willelmus de Chamunt (Chaumunt or Chaucmunt) witnessed resignation of the land of Edeluestun to the church of Glasgow in 1233 (REG., p. 138,139).
